"Judge not" is one of the most misunderstood verses in the whole Bible.
When Jesus said judge not, he meant don’t judge hypocritically. In other words, don't judge someone if you're doing the same thing. But if you aren't doing that sin, then yes judge them. Jesus said first cast the beam out of your own eye AND THEN you can see clearly to remove the mote from your brother’s eye. He didn’t just say leave the mote in your brother’s eye! Once we remove a sin from our lives, we’re supposed to help others remove it from theirs. “Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; AND THEN shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” (Matthew 7:5)
God commands Christians to warn sinners to repent so they don't go to Hell, or else their blood is on the Christian's hands. In order to do that, we must judge.
“When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou does not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.” (Ezekiel 33:8)
In John 27:4, Jesus said “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” Jesus wants us to judge, but He wants us to do it righteously, and without hypocrisy.
